Event Booking Terms and Conditions

1. Payment of Conference Registration Fees

Conference registration fees must be paid in full prior to the event and within the stated payment terms. If payment is not received in advance, access to the event may be denied.

For payments made via bank transfer, the registering party is responsible for ensuring that the full invoiced amount is received by Aliant+, inclusive of any bank charges. All payments must include the attendee’s full name and or invoice number to ensure accurate allocation.

Payment instructions or secure payment links will be provided by Aliant+.

Important: Attendance at any Aliant+ event may be restricted if the member firm has outstanding membership fees.

2. Confirmation of Registration

By completing registration for an Aliant+ event, whether online or via email, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the cancellation and refund policy.

3. Event Capacity and Waitlist

Aliant+ events may have limited capacity. Once an event reaches full capacity, a waitlist may be implemented on a firstcomefirstserved basis. Individuals on the waitlist will be notified if space becomes available.

Aliant+ shall not be responsible for any travel or accommodation expenses incurred prior to confirmation of attendance.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Aliant+ events team by the stated cancellation deadline in order to qualify for a refund or transfer.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original method of payment. No refunds will be issued after the stated deadline.

Attendees are solely responsible for cancelling any travel or accommodation arrangements. Aliant+ accepts no responsibility for any associated costs, penalties, or losses.

5. Cancellation Timeframes

Cancellations made more than 8 weeks prior to the event start date are eligible for a full refund or a transfer to one future Aliant+ event.

Cancellations made within 8 weeks of the event start date are strictly nonrefundable and nontransferable. No exceptions will be made under any circumstances.

Any transferred registration may only be applied once. If the attendee cancels the future event to which the registration has been transferred, no further transfer or refund will be granted.

6. Substitutions

Registrations may be transferred to another individual within the same member firm. All substitution requests must be submitted in writing and must include full details of the replacement attendee.

7. Disclaimer

Aliant+ reserves the right to modify event details at any time, including but not limited to the date, location, format, or program content, or to cancel or postpone the event where necessary.

Aliant+ shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, or inconvenience incurred by any attendee as a result of such changes, except where required by applicable law.

8. Event Access and Identification

Event credentials, including badges or digital access credentials, must be presented at all times to gain entry to official Aliant+ sessions and functions.

9. Accommodation

Aliant+ may, where applicable, secure preferred hotel rates for attendees. However, all accommodation bookings are the sole responsibility of the attendee. Aliant+ shall not be responsible for any disputes, cancellations, or penalties related to accommodation arrangements.

10. Travel and Visa Requirements

Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel and ensuring compliance with all visa and entry requirements. Aliant+ may provide supporting documentation for visa purposes only after full registration and payment have been completed.

11. Media and Photography Waiver

By attending an Aliant+ event, you consent to being photographed, recorded, or filmed. Aliant+ reserves the right to use such media in promotional, marketing, and communication materials across all formats without compensation.

All such media shall remain the property of Aliant+.

12. Virtual Event Provisions

For virtual events, access credentials are personal and may not be shared. Aliant+ reserves the right to restrict access if misuse is detected.

Aliant+ may record virtual sessions for internal or promotional use. By attending, you consent to such recording.

Aliant+ shall not be responsible for technical issues experienced by attendees, including but not limited to connectivity, software compatibility, or device limitations.

13. Governing Principles

These Terms and Conditions are intended to be applied in a commercially reasonable and internationally consistent manner, reflecting the global nature of the Aliant+ network.

Aliant+ reserves the right to interpret and enforce these Terms and Conditions at its discretion, in alignment with applicable laws and operational requirements.
