Global reach through deep relationships

Gateway to Global Clients and Referrals

Aliant+ is a highly selective network of mid-sized law and accounting firms built on trusted peer-to-peer relationships. Your membership is not a directory listing – it is belonging to a trusted family of partners across 50+ jurisdictions. Through active collaboration our members exchange referrals, pursue joint opportunities, and build credibility to serve clients across borders.

What makes Aliant+ different?

Most global networks prioritize size. They chase 500 firms in 100 countries, then hand you a searchable directory and wish you luck. When you need to refer a critical client matter, you’re googling strangers and hoping they don’t embarrass you.

You know who you're referring to

Members don’t just have access to firms in other markets. They know them personally. They’ve shared meals, collaborated on matters, and built the kind of trust that only comes from consistent interaction. When you refer a client to an Aliant+ partner, you’re introducing them to someone you’d vouch for, not forwarding them to a listing you found in a database.
We grow selectively, not expansively
Every firm that joins Aliant+ is carefully vetted for technical competence, cultural and demographic fit, and commitment to the network. We turn down more firms than we accept because our existing members depend on us to protect the quality that makes this network valuable. Geographic coverage matters, but not at the expense of trust.
We're built for mid-sized firms
Our members are large enough to handle sophisticated cross-border matters but small enough that senior people stay close to the work. You won’t get shuffled to a junior associate who’s never met the client. The person you’re introduced to is the person who will actually do the work.
Law and accounting work together
Most cross-border matters don’t fit neatly into one discipline. When your client needs tax structuring in three jurisdictions and regulatory compliance in two more, you need colleagues who can coordinate across both legal and accounting work. Aliant+ puts both capabilities in the same room.
Active participation is non-negotiable
Membership isn’t passive. Firms are expected to show up at gatherings, participate in practice area groups, respond to referral inquiries, and genuinely invest in relationships. This isn’t a logo you add to your website. It’s a professional community that only works when everyone contributes.

Aliant+ works differently.
We built a network where you actually know the people you're referring to.

Our Members

Aliant+ members are law and accounting firms that work closely with their clients and remain directly involved in the matters they handle. They are experienced in cross-border matters and want colleagues in other jurisdictions who use the same level of care and accountability.

Members invest time in relationships, share insights openly, and look for practical ways to support each other’s clients. The network thrives because members treat it as an extension of their own team, not a separate organization.

How Aliant+ Began

Aliant+ started with a frustration many mid-sized firms share.

Large international networks are built for large firms. The generic networks offer broad coverage but shallow relationships. When you need a trusted partner in another jurisdiction for an important client matter, you are often choosing between networks with the wrong firm size or directories where you are picking names out of a list and hoping for the best.

A small group of firms that founded Aliant+ decided to build something different. They started with people they already knew and trusted, added firms that shared the same values and approach to client work, and focused on creating a community where collaboration felt natural from the start.

The network has grown from there, but the principle remains the same: choose firms carefully, invest in relationships before you need them, and focus relentlessly on how clients are actually served when work crosses borders.

Where We Are

Aliant+ now includes 46 member firms with 2,000+ professionals across key business centers and emerging markets worldwide. Members collaborate through regular in-person gatherings, active practice area groups, and more than 50 virtual and in person events annually.

The network provides coverage in the markets where cross-border business actually happens, with the relationship depth that makes referrals reliable instead of risky.

More importantly, members aren’t just present in these markets. They’re trusted partners who’ve proven themselves through repeated collaboration, shared clients, and years of working together.

We are carefully continuing our expansion into new markets, prioritizing finding the right local partner over speed of growth.

Aliant+ membership is selective, but it starts with a conversation.

Let’s start with a conversation

If your firm regularly handles cross-border matters, values deep relationships over transactional exchanges, and wants partners you can genuinely trust when your reputation is on the line, we should talk.

We evaluate prospective members on technical competence, firm and client demographics, cultural alignment, practice area fit, and commitment to active participation. Not every firm is the right fit, but for those that are, membership means joining a professional family that treats your clients like their own.
